Since the beginning of the establishment of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, KAUST has sponsored many educational programs that aimed to help the school to accomplish and fulfill its educational school mission.  Mohammad Al Mazrooei, School Principal, Al Tabarani Elementary School for Boys, Thuwal

Thank you for letting my daughter and I be a part of the Back to School campaign. I wish there were more volunteer opportunities, similar to this campaign, here at KAUST. The Back to School campaign brought the KAUST community closer to the surrounding community. Additionally, I enjoyed how the campaign encouraged the entire family to participate.         Maya Fritz, Parent

The most rewarding aspect of being a volunteer in ‘Back to School campaign’ is that I am an instrument in boosting a child’s life towards better future through education. Moreover, by sharing our time and care with others, we contribute to a better world.    Manjaly J. Ajitha, Postdoctoral fellow, KAUST Catalysis Center

I really appreciate all the work that the Social Responsibility team at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology does, and for their active interest in the Back to School project and their excellent initiative to prepare these young students, which we rely on in the advancement of our nation and country.   Abdullah Al Qarni, Teacher, Thuwal

"My teacher once told me something that changed my life forever and he doesn’t even remember saying it”. We hear that quite often because our small deeds and actions have greater effect, than what we think, on those around us. Being part of the reason a kid loved going to school and started dreaming for a better future is simply priceless.   Modar Alfadly, PhD student, KAUST

Deep gratitude for your generous support to the Social Responsibility team at King Abdullah University Science and Technology, for sponsoring and giving the school bag to me and my classmates.   Meshari Al  Jahdali – Student, Thuwal

We, the 10th grade students would like to thank the University for the beautiful gift and the robotic kits and we say to the university to support us more and improve our levels. Many thanks to you.  Sultan Talal Al Jahdali, Thuwal High School for Boys

I became a volunteer as part of my CAS program for school. The Back to School campaign was a new experience for me, it changed my perception of education in Thuwal and Qadima. It is important to support neighboring communities because there are many young minds who are keen and have the potential to make the world a better place. By having the KAUST community volunteer in in a cause related event, people learn to support each other which brings the world together.    Lukas Ekers, Student, TKS

A successful and outstanding project contributed to support the first grade students and students with special circumstances and equality with their classmate.
Abdullah  Alzhrani, School Principal, Al Hassan bin Ali School for Boys, Qadimah

It’s my pleasure to be one of Back to School campaign volunteers, I see lots of collaboration, integration and wellness between the volunteers and all are willing to give hand.  One of the reasons to volunteer: I really like the idea of supporting our neighbor communities on Thuwal and Qadima. Yes they deserve it!
Nader Alfarshooti, KAUST Staff

A successful project in introducing students to be more familiar with King Abdullah University Science and Technology and to Improve Student’s’ Desire to Learn more about KAUST.     Safar al Ghamdi ,Teacher, Thuwal

Impressively nice moments make me feel blessed and thankful to King Abdullah University Science and Technology for this initiative.  Meshari Al Jahdali – Student

I liked the ruler     Jena Al Salhiy, Grade 1

There is no nicer recognition than thanking those who provide us and our students with development and training, also motivating our students with yearly school bags and the addition this year of giving the robotic kits. Words can’t describe the amount of thanks that Social Responsibility in King Abdullah University deserves.
So heartfelt thanks for bringing joy and happiness to our students and we look forward to more improvements for our students and teachers.
