Technological & Digital Awareness

We devise projects with a focus on technological and digital awareness to equip students and residents in our local area with the digital skills needed for our increasingly digital world.   We deliver information sessions, workshops and courses both on campus at KAUST and in the communities to improve understanding of workplace technology as well as specific computer skills.  We tailor our sessions to meet the needs of target audience, to ensure access at entry level and for more advanced users.  Simple coding sessions are designed to show that anyone can learn the basics while an expert team of KAUST volunteers has also developed the course content and study material on Microsoft applications and advanced Excel skills.  We also liaise with local schools and community centers and our internal departments to see if we can match technical needs with surplus digital assets at KAUST.
